Areas to use
Previously Painted Surfaces
All surfaces must be thoroughly clean and free of all loose dirt, powder, grease, mould, mildew, and wax. Scrape off any loose or flaking paint. Remove any grey weathered timber by sanding back to a fresh surface, then dust down. Fill nail holes, imperfections and cracks with a suitable filler, sand and dust off.
Brush, roller
Brush, roller, conventional or airless spray: Stir contents thoroughly before and during use. Apply direct from the can. May be applied to dampened surfaces. If applied over dry, porous surfaces, dampen surface before applying (NOTE: Spray application is not recommended for priming timber substrates as penetration into surface is not as good). Brush: Wet brushes with water prior to use to avoid clogging. Apply a full even coat direct from the container. Under hot conditions it may be necessary to thin with up to 100ml per litre of clean water. Roller: Using a medium nap roller apply a full even coat direct from the container and finish by light parallel strokes with a dry roller. Airless/Conventional Spray: Suitable for application by all standard spray equipment. If necessary thin with up to 100ml per litre of water to aid atomisation.
