About Acratex® Roll On 9mm

Acratex® 9mm is a flexible 100% acrylic, high profile texture coating applied by coarse (spaghetti type) texture roller and either “left off the roller” for a high profile stipple finish or subsequently “peak flattened” to produce a distinctive “cut rock” texture appearance. Roll On 9mm is specified where maximum surface hiding is required and for distinctive textural style. For optimum performance topcoat with Dulux® AcraShield® Advance.

Performance guide

  • Salt: Resists salt spray especially when top coated with Dulux Acratex AcraShield Advance.
  • Heat Resistance: Up to 90C (dry).
  • Water: Water Vapour Transmission 55g/24hr/sq.m. Water Transmission less than 1g/24hr/sq.m/kPa.
  • Solvent: Resists alcohol and aliphatic hydrocarbons. Sensitive to strong solvents.
  • Abrasion: Good abrasion resistance especially when top coated with Dulux Acratex AcraShield Advance.
  • Acid: Slight softening with dilute acids. Inert when top coated with Dulux Acratex AcraShield Advance.
  • Alkali: Slight softening with dilute alkali. Inert when top coated with Dulux Acratex AcraShield Advance.

Unused paint

Unused paintDo not pour leftover paint down the drain. Unwanted paint should be brushed out on newspaper and allowed to dry, and then disposed of via domestic waste collections.Empty paint containersLeave empty paint containers open in a well-ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle the container via steel can recycling programs. Disposal of empty paint containers via domestic recycling programs may differ between local authorities.
