To get your dimensions measure the width of one wall followed by the length of the adjacent wall, then measure the height of the room. If your room is square, the width and length may be the same.

Calculations assume 2 coats of topcoat are used, this is the ideal number of coats for most Dulux Paints.

Paint coverage and tips

There's a lot to know about paint. When buying paint make sure you check the spread rate of the product, which you can find on the back of the paint can. A lower spread rate means that the coverage won’t be as thick, meaning that more coats will be needed.

As a general guide 1L of Dulux Wall, Dulux Trim or Dulux Ceiling paint covers approximately 16m squared, while 1L of Dulux Primer will cover approximately 14m squared.
