If this product peels, blisters or flakes whilst you live in the home you have painted with Weathershield, then provided it has been applied and maintained in accordance with the product instructions, to a suitable and sound substrate, we’ll replace the paint free of charge to rectify the affected areas.
To claim you must be living in the house you have painted with Dulux Weathershield.

This guarantee does not apply: (a) to commercial premises (b) where non-Dulux coatings have been applied under or over this product (c) where this product is applied over or under another Dulux product unless Dulux has specified that as suitable (d) to substrate failure (e) to colour fade.

• All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and free of all dirt, dust, grease, loose or flaking paint.
• Efflorescence or mould on masonry or concrete surfaces must be treated before painting.
• New concrete, mortar and cement render must be allowed to cure for four to eight weeks depending on concrete thickness and drying conditions.
• Fill holes in masonry with grouting cement.
• Wash down with water with a stiff brush to remove all loose material.
• Check the adhesion of previously painted surfaces by cutting an X through the film with a sharp blade, press cellulose tape firmly across the cut and rip it off.
• If the old paint comes off with the tape it should be removed before repainting.
• Stir well with a broad flat paddle using an up and down scooping action.
• Apply two generous coats of Dulux Weathershield® Render Refresh.
• Apply three coats on all unpainted surfaces.
• Work quickly from an unpainted area into a wet area to minimise brush marks.
• When applying on very porous surfaces, thin the first coat with up to 100mL of water per litre.
• When painting windows, use sparingly on contact areas.
• Open windows within 30 minutes and again two or three times in the first 24 hours.
Do not pour leftover paint down the drain.
Unwanted paint should be brushed out on newspaper and allowed to dry, and then disposed of via domestic waste collections.

Leave empty paint containers open in a well-ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle the container via steel can recycling programs.
Disposal of empty paint containers via domestic recycling programs may differ between local authorities. Check with your local council first.
Do not reuse container unless thoroughly decontaminated.
