Previously Painted Surfaces
Dulux Renovation Range Floors requires a clean and primed surface to adhere or the paint will peel and flake off.
All grease, silicone and dirt contamination must be removed and Dulux Renovation Range Primer must be applied following label directions prior to applying your Renovation Range topcoat.
Brush, roller
1. Add all of the additive, found underneath the blue lid, to the topcoat.
2. Stir well, for approximately 2-5 minutes with a broad flat paddle, using an up and down scooping action until the additive is completely mixed into the topcoat.
3. Wash brushes and rollers prior to use.
4. Remove any loose fibres or hairs.
5. Cut in as necessary using the recommended brushes.
6. Coat surface using recommended roller.
7. Maintain a wet edge during application when brushing and rolling.
8. Lay off.
9. Once each section is coated, gently go over the surface in the same direction with minimal paint on the roller using light pressure.
10. This will give a smooth consistent finish.
11. Using poor quality or worn rollers can affect the final finish.
12. Apply at least two coats of Dulux Renovation Range Floors Gloss ensuring the previous coat is left for a minimum of eight hours before re-coating.
13. The topcoat after mixed is suitable for use for up to 10 days.
Unused paint
Do not pour leftover paint down the drain.
