About PRECISION® Coatings Remover (Green)
Dulux PRECISION® Coatings Remover is a biodegradable and water-based product, which is designed to remove multiple layers of architectural and industrial coatings from interior/exterior surfaces. It's safer to use than traditional mechanical coatings removal systems, as it's designed to trap aged coatings in a wet state, preventing airborne dust particles.

Areas to use
Previously Painted Surfaces
Always perform a small inconspicuous test on each type of surface/paint coating to be removed before general use to determine compatibility, yield, proper thickness and dwell time needed. Remove any loose or peeling paint prior to application. Mask/protect areas where stripping is not desired.
Brush, roller
Dulux PRECISION® Coatings Remover can be easily applied by brush, roller, trowel or spray. For airless application of this product we suggest that you contact your trade rep for information on a suitable airless spray unit. Graco 695 or 795 units are recommended for applying this product. Pumps from other manufacturers made to the same specifications can be used. Allow the paste to dwell on the coatings for 1–72 hours, depending on the number of coats and the type of coatings being removed. Refer to test patch validation results for accurate dwell time. In most situations the coatings can be removed in a single application but there will be projects where coating chemistry and film build contribute to a second application for complete removal. That second application generally involves less product and shorter dwell interval. After the appropriate dwell time, remove the coatings remover paste and the old coating using a scraper. Agitate surface residue with a stiff nylon brush or scouring pad, paying attention to crevices, grooves, and cracks. Exterior stripped surfaces should be rinsed thoroughly with a power washer. Interior surfaces can be rinsed using a sponge and water or denatured alcohol. All water should be contained and filtered through geofabric or microfiltration membrane before being disposed in sewage waste or foliage.
Unused paint
Collect paste and paint residue in plastic bags and dispose of in compliance with government regulations. Clean up airless sprayer by running water or denatured alcohol through the equipment soon after application has been completed. Allow surface to dry thoroughly before repainting.
