About Duramax® Undercoat Spray Paint
Precautions and limitations
Ideal for use on wood, cardboard, ceramics and glass.
Not suitable for use over Alkyd based paints.

Note: Dulux Duramax Undercoat can be wet sanded after two hours.
Previously Painted Surfaces
• The surface must be clean and dry, free from grease, rust and dirt.
• Protect adjoining surfaces from overspray.
Note: Not suitable for use over Alkyd based paints.
Brush, roller
Before spraying
• Shake can for at least three minutes after first rattle and regularly during use.
• Lower temperatures and high humidity will slow the drying and affect the gloss level.
• Avoid spraying when air or surface temperature is below 10°C or above 30°C.
Spray application
• Hold can upright 15 to 25cm from the surface.
• To ensure surface compatibility, test spray on an inconspicuous area.
• Spray with smooth, even strokes parallel to the surface.
• Apply with several light mist coats rather than one heavy coat, which can cause running and sagging.
After spraying
• Prevent blocking by turning the can upside down and spraying until clear gas emerges.
• Also wipe front of nozzle clean.
• Clean up overspray while it is still wet with mineral turpentine.
Note: Dulux Duramax Undercoat can be wet sanded after two hours.
Unused paint
Storage
• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place and and away from oxidising agents and corrosive materials.
• Protect from sunlight.
• Store away from sources of heat and/or ignition.
• Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C.

Spray unwanted paint onto newspaper and allow to dry, and then disposed of via domestic waste collections.
