• Dulux Duramax® Marble Finish must be used over the top of Dulux Duramax® Decorative colours to deliver the marble finish.
• The pre-painted Duramax® surface must be clean and dry, free from grease, rust and dirt.
• Protect adjoining surfaces from overspray.
Before spraying
• Shake can for at least three minutes after first rattle and regularly during use.
• Lower temperatures and high humidity will slow the drying and affect the gloss level.
• Avoid spraying when air or surface temperature is below 10°C or above 30°C.
Spray application
• Hold can upright 15 to 25cm from the surface.
• Test spray on a piece of cardboard to determine desired effect.
• Spray with fast, even strokes parallel to the surface.
• Only one coat is required.
• Protect the coating by applying Dulux Duramax® Gloss Clear Coat over the top after 24 hours.
After spraying
• Prevent blocking by turning the can upside down and spraying until clear gas emerges.
• Also wipe front of nozzle clean.
• Clean up overspray while it is still wet with mineral turpentine.
Storage
• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place and and away from oxidising agents and corrosive materials.
• Protect from sunlight.
• Store away from sources of heat and/or ignition.
• Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C.
