Duramax® Frosted Glass Effect Spray Paint

• The glass surface must be clean and dry, free from grease and dirt. 

• Protect adjoining surfaces from overspray.

Before spraying: 

• Shake can for at least three minutes before use and regularly during use. 

• Lower temperatures and high humidity will slow the drying and affect the gloss level. 

• Avoid spraying when air or surface temperature is below 10°C or above 30°C. 

Spray application: 

• Hold can upright 15 to 25cm from the surface. 

• To ensure surface compatibility, test spray on an inconspicuous area. 

• Apply light mist coats rather than one heavy one. 

• Wait 3-5 minutes for the frosted effect to appear. 

• If desired effect isn’t achieved, apply another topcoat.

After spraying: 

• Prevent blocking by turning the can upside down and spraying until clear gas emerges. 

• Also wipe front of nozzle clean. 

• Clean up overspray while it is still wet with mineral turpentine.

Storage 

• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place and and away from oxidising agents and corrosive materials. 

• Protect from sunlight. 

• Store away from sources of heat and/or ignition. 

• Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C.  

Unused paint 

Spray unwanted paint onto newspaper and allow to dry, and then disposed of via domestic waste collections.
