Brush, roller
Apply the chalkboard paint
1. Stir well with a broad flat paddle using an up and down scooping action.
2. Apply two coats of Dulux Chalkboard using a good quality brush to cut in and a short nap roller in good condition for rolling.
3. Allow a minimum of two hours dry time between coats.
4. Allow the final coat to dry and cure for at least seven days before conditioning the chalkboard.
Condition the chalkboard
1. To condition the board, rub the entire surface of the chalkboard vertically with the side of a piece of chalk, ensuring the chalkboard is completely covered.
2. Then rub the entire surface horizontally with the side of a piece of chalk, again covering the chalkboard completely.
3. Wipe with a soft cloth or chalkboard duster and blow off any excess chalk dust. The chalkboard is now ready to use.
Allow the final coat to dry and cure for at least seven days before conditioning the chalkboard.
