Transform your concrete surfaces
Not only does Dulux® Concrete & Paving Crushed Pebble Effect add a decorative look to your outdoor area, but it’s also highly durable and achieves a P4 slip resistance rating.
Not your average paint
Something to note about Dulux® Concrete & Paving Crushed Pebble Effect, is that it’s very different to your standard paint. Instead, it’s a clear formula containing suspended flake particles.
The suspended flakes are what provides the textured look. But because each coat will dry clear, you’ll need to build these flakes up over several layers to achieve the desired coverage.
Enjoy the decorative look, slip resistant properties and DIY satisfaction for years to come.

Suitable for a range of surfaces
Although Dulux® Concrete & Paving Crushed Pebble Effect is suited to patios, pathways, and steps, some surfaces are better suited to this product than others. This means your surface type will impact how many coats are required for full coverage. It's recommended to paint on smooth surfaces as uneven surfaces will make it hard to achieve a perfect finish.

Stir the sealer using an up and down scooping action with a broad, flat paddle. Then, just like you would any other paint, use a brush to cut in around the edges.
When you’re ready to paint the rest, evenly coat your roller and begin application.
Wait 1-2 hours before applying the Concrete & Paving Crushed Pebble Effect.
Tip
Before applying Concrete & Paving Crushed Pebble, remember to follow the recommended coverage rate of 4m2/litre. This will help ensure you’re not using too much or too little product with each coat.

Apply Dulux® Concrete & Paving Crushed Pebble Effect
After your base coat is dry, you’re ready for Dulux® Concrete & Paving Crushed Pebble Effect. To pick up and distribute the flakes in the paint evenly, ensure you use a Dulux Concrete & Paving Crushed Pebble Roller cover.
Stir well before and during application. Use a brush for cracks up to 3mm wide and for cutting in around the edges.
Begin applying the paint using moderate pressure on the roller. Push the coating out in multiple directions to spread evenly.
Build up in thin layers, working in small areas of 1x1m. Work quickly and overlap the areas previously coated to ensure an even coverage.
Don’t try and achieve full coverage on the first few coats – it’ll take up to 4-6 coats to build up the desired effect.
Allow each coat to fully dry before you apply the next. This will take about 3-4 hours.
Keep light foot traffic to a minimum after 48 hours. You’ll be able to drive on the surface after 5 days.
