We've helped local and international artists transform walls in an industrial precinct in the Melbourne suburb of Mordialloc as part of a community art festival.
Australia's beloved street art festival, Wall to Wall, recently ignited the vibrant streets of Mordi Village (in the suburb of Mordialloc, Melbourne, Victoria) with an explosion of creativity and culture in late April and Dulux were thrilled to support the initiative.
Curated by the award-winning street art collective Juddy Roller, ten walls were transformed into large scale murals during a weekend-long block party to support the local City of Kingston council.
One of the festival's highlights was the Dulux Paint by Numbers Wall, a crowd favourite that allowed people of all ages and skill levels to participate. Local artist Kyle Brightside created a stunning design and stencil featuring the iconic Dulux dog as a part of this engaging mural.
Joining Brightside were a talented lineup of Australian and international artists, including George Rose, Matt Adnate, Smug, Blo, Fred Battle (Zoer), Justine McAllister, Filthy Ratbag, Tommy Day, and Drez. Together, they contributed their artistic prowess to create the 10 mesmerising murals.
Curated by Shaun Hossack from the esteemed street art collective Juddy Roller, known for their popular Silo Art Trail, the Wall to Wall project was hosted in collaboration with the City of Kingston.
Dulux looks forward to continuing to support the street art community.
We've made a commitment to creating a positive impact for communities through paint donations by transforming the spaces where they come together.
