North Melbourne partners with Dulux

North Melbourne is pleased to announce a new three-year partnership with Australia’s most trusted paint brand Dulux.

Since 1918, Dulux has helped Australians transform their homes, businesses and communities, as a leading provider of quality paints, coatings and accessories and through various community-based partnerships and initiatives.

The new partnership with the Kangaroos will see the Dulux logo proudly feature on the men’s team’s training footballs. The partnership will also be supported by player ambassadors.

“We are excited to welcome Dulux on board as a partner for the next three years,” North Melbourne chief executive Jennifer Watt said.

Paint your Pathway Community initiative

Supporting inclusion with the Kangaroos

Dulux has stepped up as a new supporter of North Melbourne Football Club's community arm, The Huddle. Born out of the role and value of sport and the influence the club plays in connecting people across different ages, genders and cultures; he Huddle was established in 2010 as its community arm. Through its innovative programs, the Huddle leverages the power of sport to collaborate with its community to strengthen social inclusion. It also helps improve education for young people aged between eight and 25 years old and employment opportunities across Victoria and Tasmania.

Helping paint a new career pathway

Dulux has partnered with North Melbourne Football Club to support its Freestyle - Women in Trades Program. The program is aimed to attract, retain, support and empower young women and non-binary people to qualified trades in the building and construction sectors and includes mentoring, identifying career pathways within industries, and working with employers to ensure a safe and supporting environment. Supporting the program is a perfect fit for Dulux as the company continues to support and encourage more women to become painters. “With a strong commitment to grassroots support, we feel that our values and vision at Dulux complement those of North Melbourne and give us the opportunity to bring some exciting community initiatives to fruition together.”

Changing the gender dynamic in trades

Dulux has joined North Melbourne in helping build a future to attract young women and non-binary people to enter the construction industry.

Hobart students bring a touch of colour to football

Secondary school art students transformed bland walls into an oceanic wonderland along the concourse at Blundstone Arena in Hobart through North Melbourne's partnerships with Dulux and Rosny College. The students created the two stunning murals with Dulux paint in vibrant colours to liven the grey walls amid the excitement of the live North Melbourne game against Melbourne on August 6.

Dulux colours Mauve Pink, Monterey Green, Pale Green, Bright Delight, Orangeade, Domino, and Mitchell Blue.
