We're proud to work with local organisations across Australia to transform their facilities and participate in community activities.
St Lucia, QLD
Our favourite fluffy dog joined other pooches and their humans at the RSPCA Million Paws Walk at the University of Queensland in May. Dulux was proud to support the two-kilometre walk in Brisbane, one of 168 events across Australia that raised $16 million for RSPCA facilities and fighting animal cruelty. The annual event attracted 750,000 participants and 400,000 dogs nationwide.
We were super excited to support the repainting of Portarlington Football Netball Club. With the Dulux dog overseeing work, Cats players Tom Stewart and Mitch Duncan joined club volunteers to transform Portarlington's facilities in time to celebrate its 150th birthday in August 2024.
Katoomba, NSW
Dulux is proud to support vulnerable young people in the Blue Mountains community through a donation of paint for the renovation of the Mountains Youth Services Team's Katoomba Youth Centre. Clashing colours were replaced with the Dulux scheme of Natural White™ and Colorbond® Ironstone® to create a calming and relaxing space at the centre that helps young people aged 12 to 24 overcome challenges and thrive through educational and recreational activities with the help of youth workers. Established in 1992, the team also provides services to help with personal development, mental health, family therapy, and individual counselling. It also helps young people in the LGBTQIA+, culturally and linguistically diverse, and Indigenous communities in the Blue Mountains region of NSW.
"We wanted express our heartfelt gratitude for the generous donation of Dulux paint required for our Katoomba Youth Centre renovation. Dulux's contribution has had a profound impact on our space, transforming it into a warm and welcoming environment for local young people, many of whom come from disadvantaged families or are facing life challenges. The joy on the young people's faces as they entered the newly updated space was truly priceless. One young person, visibly amazed, described it as 'mind-blowing' and 'really cool', which I think says it all! We are deeply grateful for your support – none of this would have been possible without Dulux."

Giant colourful passionflowers and butterflies have brightened the Hillarys Community Garden at the non-profit Whitford Family Centre in Perth thanks to Dulux, Bunnings and talented parents, artists and students. Providing a much-needed break from the pressure of exams, year 12 students from the neighbouring St Mark's Anglican Community School skillfully painted the mural with vibrant Dulux colours in Dulux Weathershield® exterior paint donated by Dulux with tools from Bunnings. The centre provides services including pre-kindergarten programs, out-of-school care, toy library, and playgroup as well as adult activities such as first aid and parent information.
Participation of girls' sport was at the heart of our support of Traralgon Football Netball Club. We were proud to help the club with painting its changerooms. The painting provided a refreshed and comfortable space for its youth girls footballers and netballers to change in and hold meetings. The work was part of the club's effort to recover from flooding damage in 2021. Go Maroons!

The non-profit organisation helps disadvantaged youth get through school and into the community productively by providing therapy and support services from psychologists, speech and occupational therapists, early education specialists, counsellors, and family support workers.
